400 reasons for Chris Osgood to be in the Hall Of Fame, Kotsopolous suspension insufficient

Red Wing goalie Chris Osgood increased his Hall-Of-Fame chances last month, as he made 46 saves, and backstopped the Wings to a 4-3 overtime win over the Colorado Avalanche 4-3, at the Pepsi Center in Denver for his 400th win. Now that puts him 10th all-time, and most of the goalies in front of him are already in the hall(Martin Brodeur, the all-time leader in wins and shutouts, is still playing, and will not be eligible for several years). Frankly, I thought this debate should have been settled in 2008, when Osgood led the Wings to their most recent Stanley Cup.

Calgary Defenseman Tom Kotsopolous was suspended by the NHL for 6 games after his head-hunting act, which has put Brad Stuart on the shelf for 6-8 weeks with a broken jaw. Frankly, I feel this suspension, while significant, is insufficient. I mean what did Kotsopolous get, 1 game for each week Stuart is out? He'll be back in late January, while Stuart is out possibly until March. Ridicuolous.
