Sunday night, The Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers will meet in Super Bowl XLV. This matchup pairs two of the NFL's old-school teams, in what could well be the highest-rated TV program of all time(which would break the record set at LAST year's Super Bowl). After Sunday, the two teams between them will have made thirteen Super Bowl Appearances, and will have won ten titles. In the previous twelve, The Steelers have won an NFL-record six Super Bowls, while the Pack have won three, not to mention the fact that the championship trophy is named after the Legendary Packer coach Vince Lombardi, who won the first two.
Both teams have excellent quarterbacking ("Big Ben" Roethlisberger Vs. Aaron Rodgers, who has, if he didn't finally emerged totally from the shadow of Brett Favre),and Defense to spare. These teams are loaded, and it should be a dandy. A further irony, this game is being played in Dallas, the home of a franchise that both teams have a long history with (The Packers have played the Cowboys in five NFL/NFC Playoff/Champonship games, while the Steelers have met the Cowboys in three Super Bowls).
