Women's World Cup: Group Play Is Over

Group play ended this afternoon, as Sweden defeated the USA 2-1, to win Group C. The Swedes, as a result of this match, will play Austraila in the Quarterfinals, while the second-place USA will play Group D champions Brazil. Home side and Group A champions Germany will play Japan, while Group B champions England will play Group A second-place France.
