Canadian Senator Proposes Changing National Animal

Senator Nicole Eaton (a tory senator, who is an in-law of the famous Eaton department store family), saying the beaver is a "dentally defective rodent", has proposed changing Canada's national animal to the polar bear. SHE HAS GOT TO BE KIDDING. Such a proposal to change from the bald eagle would never fly here in the U.S.
