Was Cabrera's Hit The "Lou Brock" Moment Of The ALCS?
It only took the Tigers five games to get hitting in the 2011 ALCS, but when they did, it happened with a vengeance, via a four run sixth inning in Game Five that was sparked with a bad-hop double by Miguel Cabrera, that, IF the Tigers win tonight and force a Game Seven, might well spark memories among Tiger fans of a certain age, of Willie Horton's perfect strike that nailed Lou Brock in Game Five of the 1968 World Series, and turned the tide in that series. "Mad Max" Scherzer gets the start tonight, and will try to pitch the Tigers to Game Seven. If he can, I like the Tigers' odds, with Doug Fister on the mound.
