And between all that, the Patriots and Giants will manage to play the game, which is the reason we have all this hype in the first place! As far as the game itself, an EA Sports sim has the Giants winning, while Anastasia The Balloon Popping Dog, on "The Tonight Show" last night, had the Patriots winning. Me? We dogs stick together. I have the Patriots winning Super Bowl XLVI, XXIV-XIII(I used Roman Numerals since it IS the Super Bowl, after all, and that translates to 24-13). If I got it right, you heard it here first. If I got it wrong, you DIDN'T hear it here first!

GORDIE HOWE DIAGNOSED WITH DEMENTIA

Thursday, a story broke that Gordie Howe has been suffering with a mild form of dementia for at least the last few years. The family has been reluctant to link his dementia to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, or CTE, which The Late Bob Probert, among others, was found to have had during the autopsy conducted after his sudden death in 2010. I, however, would not be surprised to find out after Gordie's death, that he does have this (unfortunately, diagnoses of CTE at this point in medical science, are not possible until after the person's death, as the player's brain is examined at that time). He suffered a near-fatal head injury against the Leafs in 1950 which left him with a permanent facial tick, and no one will ever know how many concussions he sustained during his legendary career. Just sayin'.
